Natural oddity: piece of wooden tree branch grown into a twisted knot. Possibly a grape vine. In 1922 Joe Eheim was appointed to the Hutchinson park board and in 1923 became superintendent. In 1941 he was made supervisor of the Hutchinson WPA park project. Carving - Wood carving-Wilbert H. Moenke
Wooden carved tree with two owls sitting on a limb. Carved by Wilbert H. Moenke of Lester Prairie. He was a farmer and carving was his pastime all his life. He was born June 21, 1913, married Louise Rolf on May 18, 1941, and died on April 17, 1985 at age 71 years.
