Papier mache dog created in Miss Magdalen Ardolf's 1955 Hutchinson sixth grade by donor Julie Jensen. It is painted brown, wears a pink ribbon, and has painted eyes. The class graduated in 1961. Carving - Wood carving "Alaska" by Emanuel Albrecht
Wood carving titled "Alaska!!" by Emanuel Albrecht. The heavy work carved from a log shows five husky dogs pulling a sled on which two people are riding. The carving has a brass title plate and is signed "Albrecht". Emanuel carved the piece after a trip to Alaska and gave the carving to his nephew David Sprengeler in 2000.
