Description |
Papier mache dog created in Miss Magdalen Ardolf's 1955 Hutchinson sixth grade by donor Julie Jensen. It is painted brown, wears a pink ribbon, and has painted eyes. The class graduated in 1961. (See Relations tab for related items.) Donor's notes: "When I was in sixth grade (1954-55) at what is now known as Park Elementary School my teacher was Magdalen Ardolf. We made individual papier mache animals plus a half-scale burro as a class project. In my teaching career I often thought of this experience as one that taught all areas of the curriculum, prompted great enthusiasm for school, and built lifelong memories. Thank you Miss Ardolf." |
