Newspaper clipping photograph of Hutchinson's first hotel, the old American House. Undated. Mounted on cardboard. Marked on back as a loan to the Historical Society June 26, 1915(?) by W. H. Hartman. The main right hand part of the American House was built by Jack Dieter. Wm. Sumner bought and moved it to the corner later occupied by J. A. Tmey's clothing store. He added the wing and porch and it stood at the location for some 30 years. Me...
