    United States flag of 38 stars from 1876 (Colorado was the 38th state to join the union). Belonged to Riley C. Dwinnell and later Grant Dwinnell who lived in the house at 419 4th Ave SW, Hutchinson. Grant Dwinnell was a former mayor of Hutchinson. Later the house was owned by Herman E. Wendorff. The flag was found in the dugout type basement area of the house. The museum has a photo of this flag on display with other artifacts #2007-0154-007.
