2. Carriage, Baby - Tall wooden baby carriage

   Tall wooden baby carriage on springs with four high metal wheels & wood/metal handle. A parasol was used with the carriage and placed in the holder on the end near the handle. A carpet piece has been place in bottom of the high sided wooden box. Metal was originally painted green. Carriage belonged to Wenzel Papez and donated by his son Frank Papez.

   Sepia toned photographic postcard showing baby Bertha Konerza, daughter of Frank R. & Emily Piker Konerza. She is in a large wicker pram (perambulator, baby carriage) with turned wooden spindles at the foot. The carriage has very large wheels and the child is held by a restraining seat belt.
