    Wooden box trunk. Belonged to Edmund F. Laible when he served in the Second U. S. Cavalry in Cuba during the Spanish American War. He was the grandfather of donor Karen Sather Hendricksen. The trunk was given to Edmund's son George H. Laible in 1925 when he was 17 years old. Edmund Franz Joseph Laible was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 10, 1875.
