Sepia toned photographic postcard of an agricultural threshing scene. Eight men are visible: two at the very large steam tractor, four feeding the thresher driven by a long drive belt, one controlling the thresher, one with a horse and wagon. Sent by E. W. Trettin of Buffalo Lake to John Fischer, Lakeside, Minn. John Fischer was a brother to Max Fischer. Message about obtaining more postcards. Postmarked Buffalo Lake, January 15, 1912. Franklin one cent stamp. John Fischer was a brother of Max Fischer who was the grandfather of donor Pat Hanson and the father to Pat's mother. |
