Description |
Pair of U.S. officer's gold bullion epaulets/shoulder boards from the 19th century Civil War and Indian War period. Each has a gilded brass crescent on the end with heavy bullion fringe and underside of yellow silk with metal fastener bar. Holes indicate there were stars or buttons attached. The epaulets usually were stored in an oval tin box to keep them dust free. |
