Crayon tinted drawing of Andrew Kegler (age 2), born 1910, son of Ben Kegler and Laura Bugnon Kegler. The boy is pictured wearing a white dress and black stockings and shoes. He is holdiing a stenciled "Boy Scout" banner. Andrew was the father of donor Gerald Kegler. Drawing is mounted on domed cardboard; removed from original frame. Two-year-old Andrew "Andy" Anthony Kegler was the son of Ben Kegler (1884-1961) and Laura Bugnon (1890-1948). He completed Holy Trinity grade and high school at Winsted, MN, worked the famiy farm and eventually found work in St. Paul where he lived with his wife, Clara Thiemann (1913-2004) of Wright County. They had two children, Gerald (b.1945) and Elaine (1947-2009. Gerald donated the drawing of his young father in July 2021. |
