Daniel Art Gallery, St. Cloud, MN. "Headin for the Stubble" by Les Kouba was the 1985 Minnesota Ducks Unlimited Sponsor Print of the year and Les Kouba was named Sponsor Artist of the year. The painting shows a Snow Goose Migration over grain fields near some railroad tracks. Some flocks of Snow Geese fly south and pass over the railroad tracks and a country grain elevator in the distance, while others have landed in the grain field stubble. Farmsites are in the background with the nearest one on the right. |
