Description |
Baby Girl Doll. Doll's head and arms are plaster painted flesh color. Painted facial features, blond painted hair and blue painted eyes. Her body is of white cotton stuffed with a firm stuffing. Her legs are sewn to the body and of pink cotton & more lightly stuffed. A box with holes in it in her back indicates that she cried when new. She has a blue plaid dress with white trim on, with a matching bonnet and panties. She has a silky red triangular scarf around her neck. She wears white knee high baby stockings. There is elastic at the panty waist and bonnet ties. A pin which says, "McLeod County - Public Health Association - Member - 1927" is holding the dress closed in back. She also has on a white knit baby double breasted undershirt with a white knit belly button band under it. On top of these is a white cotton bodice, held together with a pin in back. Belonged to Agatha & Cecilia Grewe. |
