Description |
White wedding dress and veil worn by Kali Bach at her wedding to Nick Thompson on May 15, 2004 at the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Lester Prairie. Museum has wedding photograph #2008-0165-002. White satin dress with rayon over-layer. The bodice is heavily decorated with flowers of clear sequins, pink beads and white pearls and has a sweetheart neckline and "V" back with narrow shoulder straps. The skirt is decorated with flowers of sequins, beads and pearls along the hem and extending up toward the top. The long train has the floral design of sequins & pearls on the edge. An underskirt of netting provides stiffness. Veil of white netting with white cord around the edge is fastened with a comb. 32" long. Dress No. 5 of a five generation set of wedding dresses including 2007-0092--001, -002, -003, and -004, and 2008-0257-001. |
