Gold pinback button for Instructor J. G. Benjamin. Image of an antenna at center. John Gustave Benjamin was born July 7, 1924, son of Arthur John & Adela Benjamin. John graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1942. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on July 23, 1943 in New York City and was stationed at the Naval research laboratories in Washington, D.C. where he taught in a Navy radio school. He was a 1948 University of Minnesota graduate in chemical engineering. He was employed with General Mills Research Laboratories in Minneapolis at the time of his marriage to Arlys Burgstahler on May 18, 1951 at Glencoe, MN. John Gustave Benjamin died March 23, 2017. |
