Description |
Color wax crayon drawing of Harold Ezra McIntire, dressed in robe and mortar board with tassel for his 1921 University of Minnesota graduation from the School of Dentistry. He set up a dental practice in Triumph (Trimont), MN where he met his wife Muriel Ethelyn Stockdill. An artist passed through and the couple decided to have their pictures done in crayon. Harold McIntire was born in 1899 and died in 1952. The couple was married July 31, 1923 and moved to Hutchinson in 1936. Dr. McIntire had his dental office above Braun's on Main Street. Muriel McIntire's drawing is 2015-0213-002. A reminiscence about Harold & Muriel written by their daughter Kathleen is 2015-0213-003. The oval drawing is convex and was removed from a frame previous to donation to the museum. |
