Raccoon coat worn by Henry G. Kuhlmann of Lester Prairie. Beaver collar; wooden toggle buttons. Henry was the father of donor Alice Kennedy. Henry G. Kuhlmann was born November 28, 1870. On February 19, 1893 he married Helen Meyer (1873-1963). Henry helped form School District No. 84 and was treasurer until he retired from farming in 1936. He was the first rural telephone subscriber and helped organize the Farmer's Elevator. He died December 5, 1942. |
