Description |
U. S. Army National Guard uniform worn in Iraq by Charles William Parpart, Lester Prairie. Includes desert camouflage pattern combat pants, tee shirt, coat & boots. Charles Parpart enlisted on April 17, 2002 in the National Guard, Hutchinson unit. and had basic training at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri. He was with Co. B, FWO 1/682 Engr BN. During his Tour of Duty he was FOB Cobra Iraq and did route clearance for IEDs ahead of convoys. His training was 21B Combat Engineer. He was discharged April 16, 2010 with the rank of sergeant. Medals received: National Defense Service, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary, Global War on Terrorism Service, Armed Forces Reserve & Mobilization, Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation, Minnesota Commendation Ribbon/Pendant, American Soldier Defender of Freedom, Army National Guard. |
