Go Army can opener made by Malllin Hdwe, Shelby, Ohio. Directions for use and sterilizing are on the paper sleeve. Donor Dorothy Klawitter writes "Ed Klawitter used this can opener to open the cans that they had in their K-rations (or it might have been C-rations). This was the food they got to eat when he was fighting in Africa and Italy, having been in the 34th Division called the Red Bull Division. I remember he was not very fond of either rations, but it was food when on the battlefields." |
