Black & white original photograph of Main Street in Brownton, MN looking north. On the right is the building housing Scrimgeour Rexall Drugs. Adjacent (north) of the drug store portion of the building was the medical practice office of Dr. Alvin M. Jensen. The stop sign is at the intersection with Highway 212. The brick building north of the intersection with the door angled to the street was originally built as a saloon. Parked on the street are automobiles of the 1950's vintage and an A. H. Hermel delivery truck. The left side of the street foreground pictures a residence, another wood structure, and a brick building at the intersection, and across the highway additional unidentified businesses.
