Identities: (l to r) Mrs. Kohls, Mrs. Brabec, Mrs. Graham(?), Martha Coombs Andrews, Hattie ____, Addie Brabec Christlieb, Stella Griffith, Martha Merrill, Mrs. Fickling. The photo belonged to Lela Maude Thayer Cummings who grew up in Hutchinson with her brothers Elmer and Fred. They were grandchildren of Charles & Martha Coombs Andrews, early Hutchinson settlers. Charles Andrews came in 1857 with the Pendergast family. Charles & Martha Coombs Andrews were great grandparents of the donor Jane Kirby. |
