Color photograph of section S-12C-7 inside the Great Northern Railway Depot on Adams Street in Hutchinson, MN. This section of the panel features the text, "Bryant." The most likely person that is referring to is John Bryant, but not much is known. The Minneapolis City Directory from the 1880s included a John Bryant who worked in the railroad industry. In 1876 John Bryant lived on Second Avenue South in Minneapolis. He was a conductor for the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul Railroad. A year later his residence is listed as Barlow House in Minneapolis. And the following year he lived at 718 Eighth Avenue South. He was still working as a conductor. In the 1883 he lived at 1516 Second Avenue South in Minneapolis and listed his profession as passenger conductor for the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul Railroad. In 1910 a switchman named John Bryant lived at 131 Washington Avenue North in Minneapolis. |
