Sepia toned photograph showing an aerial view of Hutchinson, MN c.1911. The first Congregational Church building is at center front. Franklin St is on the far left, an alleyway is next to the church and Main Street is on the far right behind the trees. Stearns Lumber buildings are visible at right center background. Against the horizon at far left is the Pendergast school with smoke coming from the chimney. Houses and backyard barns complete the landscape. The photo was probably taken from the top of the Adams house on 4th & Main. |
