Photocopy of a black & white photograph of a large crowd of men, women and children outside a wooden church building. The church on the property of Joseph Telecky is identified as the predecessor to the Silver Lake Presbyterian Church and was north of the Bohemian Hall on County Rd 4 (1978 History of McLeod Co., p. 100). It was called the Jan Hus Society. The pastor in black robes in the center of the group is identified as Joseph Krenek (before 1920). Vintage automobiles are also visible. Wallace Oliva had the original photo. |
