Black & white wedding photograph of Walter Dose and Hilda Kroells, married June 10, 1931 at 6:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Church in Lester Prairie by Rev. E. Becker. The reception was in the newly built barn on the Henry & Ida Bathen Dose family farm two miles southwest of Lester Prairie, which the couple rented for nearly six years before purchasing a farm two miles southeast of Lester Prairie. The couple was married for 62 years before Walter (born April 4,1908) died August 4, 1993. Hilda (born September 29,1911) died February 1, 2004. They were the parents of donor Emmert Dose. The photograph shows the groom dressed in a dark suit with single rose boutonniere. The bride in her wedding dress & veil is holding a bouquet of roses. She has a pearl necklace.
