Description |
Portrait print titled "Churchill's Brother" of an unidentified distinguished looking man with white hair. He is wearing a dark suit, light blue vest and white shirt with maroon tie. He has a ring on his right hand and cuff links on his sleeves. Hand colored by Lydia Brinkman; Brinkman Studio, Hutchinson, MN. The print was entered in the American Professional Artists Guild exhibit in 1973. A maroon ribbon on the front is marked APAG 1975. The original black & white photograph is taped to the back. Score: 84. All colorists in a competition were provided with the same black & white photograph to begin their work. They needed a score of 30 or above to hang at a competition exhibit. |
