On the right, Gust Kurth is standing on the sidewalk. In the background is "The Fair" at 102 Main Street South where Max Oppenheimer sold dry goods. Next door is the original Citizens Bank building (1892-1905) where Harrington (1860-1930) served as founding president. Just out of camera range is Fickling's grocery store at 114 Main Street South. Names of individuals identified are written on front of photo in ball point ink. The last name of the man in the horse drawn buggy may have been Clay as written in pencil on reverse side of photo. Photo is similar to ID 1979-0994-001, 1985-0074-001 and 1987-1020-016 |
