He was married to Lydia Garner for 62 years. They had three children. Militon was a professional photographer and owned operated Brinkman Studio in Hutchinson. Milton passed away on May 13, 2020 at the age of 93 years old. He is buried in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.
