Portrait print titled "Indian Lady at 103" of an unidentified elderly Native American woman with deep wrinkles and white hair. Hand colored by Lydia Brinkman; Brinkman Studio, Hutchinson, MN. Original color and black & white photographs are adhered to the back. It was a Merit Award Print from the 88th Annual Exhibition of the Professional Photographers of America, Rosemont, Illinois, 1979. Has a maroon ribbon from the American Professional Artists Guild and a tan mat. Score: 82. All colorists in a competition were provided with the same black & white photograph to begin their work. They needed a score of 30 or above to hang at a competition exhibit. |
