    Color photograph from the September 21, 2008 Oakland Cemetery tour. Tom Whitcomb portrayed Harry Bingenheimer. Tom is wearing a blue suit jacket and an American Legion hat. On a bench nearby are a World War I uniform, hat and combat helmet. Harry Bingenheimer was McLeod County's last surviving World War I veteran and one of the first doughboys to join the newly organized American Legion in 1919.
