Framed shadowbox containing a wedding headpiece and net veil arranged around a black & white wedding photograph of Herman F. Klawitter and Ida Polchow, married October 5, 1911. Headpiece has artificial flowers and two white silk bows. Wood frame painted gold; glass; wire for hanging. Museum has the wedding dress bodice 2021-0050-002. The couple is pictured on their 50th wedding anniversary in family tree booklet 1988-1034-001.

Net wedding veil with a headdress of artificial buds and leaves on a wire coronet frame. Unidentified bride. Possibly worn by Orville's mother Hertha M. Prahl Rickert for her October 22, 1916 wedding to Edwin Rickert. See also 1985-2446-001 for wedding shoes. [Hertha died on December 22, 1984, shortly before this donation to the museum.]
