1880 Pencil drawing of Pendergast Academy that was burned down by Little Crow's band of Indians during the Dakota Uprising in 1862. It was Hutchinson's first school house. Another drawing is 1988-0409-002. One or both were drawn by John Fickling, a student in the school. This drawing appears to have been done professionally.
