    Sepia toned photographic postcard of six boys dressed in military type uniforms. This group was said to be the first Boy Scout troop (1911) in Hutchinson, Minn. The scout master was Prof. H.L. Merrill. The scouts are named:(no order given) Byron Moore, Herb Finney, Carl Thompson, Ed Mattsfield, J. Harold Beytien, Gilbert Hall. The boys are posed in order by size, near a body of water.

    Sepia toned photographic postcard with a photo of six boys in the first Boy Scout Troop in Hutchinson, MN (January,1911). Scoutmaster was Prof. H. L. Merrill. Photo was taken in Spring, 1911 and shows the boys in knicker-type uniforms with broad brim hats. Identities: (l to r) Byron Moore, Herb Finney, Carl Thomson, Ed. Mattsfield, J. Harold Beytien, Gilbert Hall. The name E. J. Mattsfield is on the address side of the card.
