Scanned copy of a sepia toned photographic postcard of the Hutchinson Jail (City Coop) located next to the Hutchinson City Hall & Fire Station. Addressed to Margaret Knaff, Minneapolis, Minnesota with a message from a girl in "Old Wyoming" who was on a trip and had only seven blowouts. Postmarked Casper, Wyoming, August 3, 1931. One cent Franklin stamp.

Black & white reproduction photograph of the Hutchinson City Jail "City Coop", c. 1931. The jail was located on Washington Avenue east of the City Hall, was built in 1914, demolished in 1968, and rarely occupied. Records reflect that two people were arrested in 1914, and none in 1915 or 1916. This photograph is from a postcard mailed in 1931.

Scanned sepia toned photograph of the old Hutchinson Jail located next to City Hall on Washington Ave. West, Hutchinson, MN. Donor Carlos P. Avery had a print of it that was included amongst several photos and negatives that were given to him several years ago by his uncle Scott Avery. Donor guessed that the photo may have been taken by one of his great uncles during the time that they owned/operated the Hutchinson Leader.
