  9. Painting - Painting: The Sorghum Mill by Celia Eggert

    Framed original oil painting by Celia Eggert of the Sorghum Mill of H. E. Krienke that stood on the present McLeod County Historical Museum property just south of the log cabin. Donated in honor of Celia Eggert's father Harold Hanson who owned the farm from 1943-1965. Celia lived on the farm where the museum currently stands from 1940-1958. Wooden frame is painted blue/grey with a gold border next to the picture.

Card is addressed to Master Lowell Peik, c/o B.C. Peik of R.R., Brownton, Minn. The green Washington one cent stamp was cancelled on December 22,1922 at Badger, Minn. The message mentions a Christmas tree at school and that all got a present. Signed, Melvin Hanson.
