Hat - Jay Gould hat
Buff colored hat with red & green feathers on a black band and with black trim along the rolled edge of the brim. Made by GORE, St. Louis. Newspaper strip has been put inside hat band to make hat smaller. Hat belonged to Jay Gould, Sr. (Jay Gould Million Dollar Circus) of Glencoe. In original oval black "Hats of Quality" box marked style 102, color bronze suede, and name Jay Gould. Several sizes are marked.
