  4. Manuscript - History of the Wye Road House Inn

    History of the Wye Road House Inn along Hwy 212 related by Leonard Kraemer in 1997. Jack and Virginia McMann or McMahan were the last owners and Leonard pumped gas for them. Jack retired in fall of 1962 when the state bought him out for expansion of Hwy 212 to four lanes. Photo of the "Wye" roadhouse operated by Ruhrs is 2016-0187-056.
