   Wooden grub box used by Gideon K. Gilbert of Glencoe when out collecting Soldier's Votes at area Forts for the Presidential Election of 1864. He traveled by horse & buggy in Minnesota and South Dakota. The box has square nails and once had leather hinges and newspaper lining.

Don Klaustermeier drove into Lester Prairie to fill his tractor with fuel and stopped to vote at the town hall, where he parked the tractor and disc. In 1911 land was purchased from Andrew Anderson on the SE corner of NE 1/4, Section 15 and the Bergen Town Hall was built using lumber from the old town hall ...
