Dress - Dancing dress-Mae Hoodecheck
Red-orange floor-length dress and matching belt of crepe with silver sequin trim on sleeve shoulders and on center of belt. The bodice back features a long center slit. This was Mae Hoodecheck's Swan Lake dancing dress worn between 1932 and 1937 with her black fishnet stockings 2009-0220-009. Mae Hoodecheck, who married Axel M. Jensen on November 25, 1937, was the mother of donor Julie Jensen.

Photocopy of a poster for a dance at T. E. Christensen's new barn located a mile and a half northeast of Hutchinson on August 6. Just the right kind of dance music by the Hudson Colored Orchestra. The barn was 34 x 128 feet, had just been built and would provide one of the best dance floors in this part of the country.
