    White ironstone pottery oval serving bowl with two handles and no cover. White on white raised floral design same as 1979-0335-001 covered dish, 1979-0315-001 butter dish and 1979-0320-001 milk pitcher. Dots around top edge. Made by Meakin & Co., Cobridge, England. This pottery, worked by Meakin & Co. from 1865 to 1882, was capable of turning out about 2,500 crates of white graniteware annually for the United States.
