Crude & primitive rough hewn wooden hooks/pegs on a heavy plank. Believed to have been used for hanging horse tack. Found in a shed to be moved on the Earl McBride property southwest of Hutchinson in September 2015. [Section 32, Lynn Township] Nels Algren is shown as the property owner from 1880-1914 on plat maps so perhaps he made the pegs. He was a blacksmith before becoming a farmer. Photocopy of a poster for a dance at T. E. Christensen's new barn located a mile and a half northeast of Hutchinson on August 6. Just the right kind of dance music by the Hudson Colored Orchestra. The barn was 34 x 128 feet, had just been built and would provide one of the best dance floors in this part of the country.
