    Scanned sepia toned photograph of the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dwight McEwen: Bowman, born 1848, Howard, born 1845, Charles Carlton, born 1859, Clark, born 1862. The parents settled three miles south of Hutchinson in 1857 and had the first cheese factory to make American Cheese west of Minneapolis. All four sons lived and died near Hutchinson with the exception of Charles Carlton who after 1881 lived and died near Huron, South Dakota.
