   Wide brimmed black velvet hat with a puffy orange crown. Has small black feathers at the back. Label: M. C. Rousse, Importer. 59 No. Pearl St, Albany NY. Handstitched lining. [The brim and crown were married at some point in time according to appraiser.] Belonged to Jennie Linder Knaff (1887-1938) and was kept in her trunk.
