    Chalk portrait of young Jane Abbey Anderson, daughter of Samuel G. Anderson Jr. and Margaret Ames Anderson. Jane was born March 31, 1914 in Hutchinson, MN and died of spinal meningitis on April 30, 1925 at age 11 years, 1 month. She was survived by two sisters and two brothers. Her grandmother was Abby Hutchinson Anderson. The convex oval chalk portrait is colored in pastels and shows the young girl with a Dutch style cap and matching bodice....
