Black and white with blue shading photographic postcard of a building with three sections. The front is labeled - "High School, Tacoma, Wash. Theodore A. Little, Pub." Written on front "This is the new high school and was built about one year ago. Mrs. Boerner" Description on back is "The building on the reverse side of this card was originally intended for a magnificent Tourist Hotel. Later it was acquired by the school district and has been converted into one of the handsomest High School Buildings in the United States. Over $500,000 have been expended upon this property." Card is addressed to Mrs. H. R. Fritze, Hutchinson, Minn. from Bertha. Dear Clara. She received her postal and was very pleased with it. She liked the eyelet embroidery fine but didn't like to see her go through so much bother to make her one. She asks her to answer her letter soon. Postmark: Tacoma, Wash. on Feb. 8, 1908. Green one cent Franklin stamp. |
