Sepia toned photographic postcard of Glencoe MN c.1910 showing the East side of Hennepin Ave. Visible are the C. Henry Building Dry Goods, Gould Jewelry, Joseph A. Winter Barber Shop, Farther down a Meat Market, Hardware Store, Exchange Grainery (Elevator), and L.P. Albrecht Farm Machinery. There are horse drawn wagons lining the street. The card was sent to Mrs Ben Totushek, Box 53, Hopkins, MN and has a one cent stamp cancelled at Glencoe MN on November 4, 1910. Message mentions a duck for Tommy and the rest for Pa and Ma. Signed only Elsie. |
