Sepia toned photographic postcard showing a large pile of snow along Main St., Hutchinson, MN looking south. This snow was a result of the March, 1924 storm. Some of the buildings are identified. Left to right on the west side: Stocking's Hardware (18 Main St. N), Farmers National Bank (22 Main St N). Felepe's Shoe Store (24 Main St N), Zeleny's Cash Store (28 Main St N), Hutchinson Rubber Co.(32 Main St N.), I. Schirber Jewelry, with a clock hanging out front and a sign advertising South Bend watches (36 Main St N,). On the left (east) side are the signs for Becker's Second Hand Store (37 Main St N.) and the EATS sign (Janousek's Cafe) and a sign for Foerat(?) tires. |
