Black & white photographic postcard of the 1914 Fourth of July, Lester Prairie, MN parade. The leading float is a depiction of the Liberty Bell and a flag draped Lady Liberty, complete with crown and torch. This unit is followed by four other flag draped cars. The parade is heading east on Center Ave. The sign hanging from the balcony reads Post Office. This building still stands in 2013, but is no longer the Post office. Writing on back says "L P 4th July 1914." |
