Charles Beihoffer with ducks & gun |
Scope & Content |
Sepia toned photographic postcard of Charles Beihoffer holding a shotgun with dead ducks strung over his shoulder. He is standing in front of a frame house, said to have belonged to David Beihoffer, that later burned down. There are two sheds visible, one right and one left. There is a ladder on the roof of the main house (possibly for chimney cleaning). The one cent Franklin stamp was cancelled February 26,1911 at Glencoe, MN and the postcard was sent to Dave Beihoffer of Glencoe. The message speaks of good hunting. |
