Sepia toned photographic postcard showing eight young men: four seated at a table playing cards, two other men wearing masks and holding wooden guns are standing near-by; another man is wearing a uniform and a badge with a night stick; another is pouring from a bottle. Coats can be seen hanging on the far left. Two of the card players have cards hidden in their shoes and cuffs. The card is addressed to Donald Tmey of Hutchinson, Minn. The Franklin one cent stamp was cancelled at New Ulm, Minn. on May 31, 1911. The message speaks of borrowing a tent. The card is signed Otto Fritzke. |
