Scanned black & white photographic postcard of the Danish Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, MN. The church was organized in 1870 and this structure was built in 1895 at the corner of Main Street and Fourth Avenue. It was a forerunner to Main Street Lutheran built in 1938, later named Faith Lutheran Church in 1958. Addressed to Miss Elise Tange, Minneapolis, MN. Message from her sister about receiving her letter, snow falling but nearly gone, Thanksgiving plans, Mathilda's coming, postal to Mrs. Aagaard unanswered, and hello from Christena Tange. Postmarked Hutchinson, MN, November 13, 1908. Green Franklin one cent stamp. |
